Israel’s Al-Shifa Hospital raid was THEATER – IDF substantially tampered with footage and evidence

New evidence has emerged to suggest that Israel is not exactly telling the truth about Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza.

Israel has long claimed that the Palestinian territory’s largest medical complex served as cover for Hamas, which was using the facility and its patients as a human shield while operating a command post in the basement. Israel Defense Forces (IDF) recently raided the complex on this premise, only to reveal little in the way of actual evidence to prove that Hamas was ever operating there.

BBC, one of just two media organizations that Israel allowed to tour Al-Shifa after the raid, is reporting that the IDF tampered with evidence at the site, including with the release of “unedited” video footage that was, it appears, edited after all.

As for those “underground tunnels” we keep hearing about, at least one of those has also been determined to actually be just a simple water tunnel, or reservoir, for a septic tank.

Israel twice claimed water reservoirs in Gaza were “Hamas tunnels”

This is actually the second time Israel has told a fib about a water reservoir at Al-Shifa. Last time, it was the same thing in the end: a simple water tunnel for delivering hydration resources.

In at least one instance, Israel actually went so far as to bulldoze an underground sewage tank in an attempt to make it look like a “Hamas tunnel” and apparently keep the ruse going:

Keep in mind that just the other day, David Friedman, the former U.S. ambassador to Israel under Donald Trump, claimed definitively that it has been “proven with certainty” that the headquarters of Hamas is, or was, located underneath Al-Shifa Hospital. When an Al Jazeera interviewer asked him for proof, Friedman retorted that he is in “Holocaust denial” for requesting such evidence.
