Collusion: DEA bans plant medicines, then Big Pharma patents them for profits

Is the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) really looking out for anyone’s best interests with their latest stand on natural, medicinal plants like cannabis and kratom? Most would tend to disagree with them, just on principle. But a deeper look into the matter reveals that their intent may be far more sinister than they want us to believe.

While the DEA consistently maintains that these plants work against the greater good, there are clearly a lot of questions about the agency’s integrity – especially when Big Pharma is involved.

Marijuana and THC – a well-known cannabinoid compound – are both illegal. And yet, as The Free Thought Project pointed out back in September, Big Pharma companies mass-produce and sell synthetic THC formulations, such as Marinol. Marinol is the brand name for dronabinol – the new name that the Big Pharma executives give to THC after it’s been synthesized in a lab. Marinol’s own website notes that THC is a naturally occurring compound found in cannabis. However, as Paul Armentano – the senior policy analyst for the marijuana legislation reform group NORML – notes, Marinol lacks many of the natural therapeutic compounds that are present in the cannabis plant. And because Marinol’s sole active ingredient is synthetic THC, and it’s taken orally, the psychoactive effects tend to be much stronger (and even problematic for some) compared to traditional cannabis. CBD, another beneficial compound, tends to help counteract the psychoactive effects of THC, and without it, you’re in for a whole different kind of ride.

Regardless of how one feels about Marinol and the fact that it offers only limited relief to patients in comparison to the plant it’s modeled after, it is exceedingly hypocritical of the FDA to approve of it while the DEA continues to prosecute marijuana to the fullest extent. It’s not just being blind to the facts or refusing to believe a plant could be medicinal; its outright sabotage at this point. The federal government has literally allowed Big Pharma to create medicine derived from the plant, and then made the plant itself illegal. It is simply mind-boggling how they can rationalize and justify such despicable behavior.

The DEA’s recent statement on kratom underlines the extreme lengths to which they will go to continue to assert that they are in the right, even if only to themselves. The agency filed a notice of intent declaring that they would “temporarily schedule the opioids mitragynine and 7-hydroxymitragynine, which are the main active constituents of the plant kratom, into schedule I pursuant to the temporary scheduling provisions of the Controlled Substances Act.” The notice then explained, “This action is based on a finding by the Administrator that the placement of these opioids into schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act is necessary to avoid an imminent hazard to the public safety.”

As is typical of bureaucratic agencies, the notice of intent continued in a similar fashion with its convoluted explanation.

And, of course, three synthetic opioids have been synthesized from the kratom plant, namely MGM-9, MGM-15 and MGM-16. Unsurprisingly, these three synthetics were developed from the kratom alkaloids, Mitragynine and 7-Hydroxymitragynine – you know, the ones named by the DEA as an “imminent hazard to public safety.”

If these compounds are so dangerous, why on earth would Big Pharma be synthesizing them to make medicine? It just doesn’t seem to add up, but the federal agency continues to go along with their story of supposed danger to society, hoping we’ll all fall for it. It really tells you all you need to know about the DEA and their relationship with Big Pharma though, doesn’t it?

The DEA is fighting to access your private prescription information without consent

It should come as no surprise that the Drug Enforcement Administration is up to no good once again. Over the years, being corrupt has become their M.O. for the most part, frequently stepping beyond the boundaries of the law in order to make unjust arrests that inevitably line their pockets with dirty money.

Because of this, it is far from shocking that the DEA is now trying to gain full access to the American public’s prescription information without having to obtain consent. But what’s even more infuriating than that is that in 31 states across the country, this is already a reality — and you may not even know it yet.

In an article published by Fox 4 Now, journalists Mark Greenblatt and Angela M. Hill report, “The disclosures to police agencies often take place without notifying the person targeted in a search and without offering a chance to object. That means no court ever approves the release of records that can reveal treatment for private medical conditions such as cancer, psychiatric disorders, HIV or gender reassignment.”

Considering how private many people prefer to keep their illnesses and ailments, this is extremely alarming news. Free, law-abiding Americans shouldn’t have to release any private information about themselves, nor should the federal government have any right to gain access to it.

Furthermore, it is a difficult task to understand exactly why the DEA having the ability to access this information is necessary. Unless someone is wanted for questioning in regards to a criminal case — in which obtaining a warrant would be easy — then why exactly does the DEA need to know what kinds of medication they are prescribed? It is absolutely none of their business.

Of course an organization that is a part of a crooked federal government that is being run by authoritarian leftist lunatics finds it acceptable to sneakily obtain the private information of the American people. This is par for the course when it comes to these freedom-hating fascists. This is merely the latest step in the ongoing battle to control the American people.

While that may seem like somewhat of an overstatement, in reality, it is far from it. Historically, fascists haven’t taken over in one fell swoop. Instead, they decide to take away smaller, less noticeable rights here and there. That way it’s difficult for the average person to realize exactly what is going on. By the time they discover the truth, it’s much too late and they’re enslaved to the government.

If we want to survive and prosper in the United States of America, then it’s important that we stand up to the authoritarian leftists and demand that they treat us like free human beings instead of slaves or cattle. Our health and our prescriptions are our business. They should be treated as such.

How the DEA became the biggest pro-drug, pro-crime gang in America

Historically, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has been an extremely controversial organization. While the brainwashed sheep likely believe them to be a trustworthy group that is preventing our children from getting hooked on drugs, those who have been paying attention should be well aware of the numerous assaults on personal freedom the federal group has been engaging in over the years.

How, exactly, they reached this point is a fascinating story.

The DEA was first formed back in 1973 under then-President Richard Nixon as a way to combat the now-infamous War on Drugs. While they should have known back then — decades after alcohol prohibition proved to be a colossal flop — that trying to outlaw mind-altering substances was a huge mistake, that didn’t stop the DEA from waging on for decades after.

Now, unfortunately, they are stronger than ever and have become a drug-peddling gang that has completely bastardized their original intent. While their original intent wasn’t exactly a good thing in the first place — especially given what we now know about cannabis — what they have grown to be in the years following their creation is nothing short of disgusting.

See, the War on Drugs and alcohol prohibition were both instilled for one reason: to leech money out of the American people’s pockets. The federal government was and is well aware that the average American engages in some form of drug use — whether it be cannabis, alcohol, or something else — and an overwhelming majority use them relatively responsibly. But there’s money to be made when these things are criminalized.

By catching and fining users of drugs and alcohol, the DEA was able to become extremely profitable. The fact that they were infringing on the personal liberties of their country’s people was irrelevant because they were making absurd amounts of money.

Over the years, as they always do, the organization has gotten greedier and greedier — going to even greater lengths in order to make a little bit more dough. There’s substantial evidence to prove that the DEA has actually been funding gangs, drug kingpins and other criminal organizations for decades now.

By funding the operations of criminals, the DEA has more people to catch, fine and incarcerate, which makes for substantially larger profits for them.

This is, in a nutshell, how the federal government works in 2016. They don’t care about the American people. Our livelihood is of no concern. They merely want to collect more and more money from us in an attempt to profit off of the “laws” that we break by engaging in a personal freedom. It’s insane, unconstitutional and, frankly, un-American.

If our Founding Fathers could see what the government they fought so hard to keep grounded has become, they would surely be turning over in their graves — graves that the DEA would probably break into in search of a gram of marijuana.

The DEA turns its back on freedom; refuses to reschedule cannabis, claims it’s worse than METH

In a mind-boggling decision that proves, without a shadow of a doubt, that the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is horrifically corrupt, the organization has once again refused to reschedule cannabis from a Schedule I drug, despite having zero logical reasons not to do so.

With this decision, the DEA is essentially claiming that marijuana is even more harmful than crystal meth, which is still a Schedule II drug. To put it into perspective, heroin is also a Schedule I drug. The DEA wants the American public to believe that cannabis is as harmful as heroin. How many lives do you know that have been destroyed by marijuana? Any?

This decision is truly remarkable in all the wrong ways. Thanks to the expansion of the internet — where all sorts of information is readily available at our fingertips — and the awakening of the American people, we’ve known for years that not only is cannabis not harmful, it’s actually filled with seemingly endless health benefits.

Hemp is another plant that is strictly regulated; getting a permit to grow it is a long shot. But, hemp products are still legal, and can also help to support health. That’s why the Health Ranger and Native Hemp Solutions have decided to partner up and provide us with a hemp extract that is lab-validated for 100 percent authenticty. Mike Adams’ CWC Labs tests and verifies the CBD content of these extracts to ensure accuracy.

Unfortunately, the legality and efficacy of marijuana is still up for debate, at least in the eyes of the DEA.

Vox reports, “This isn’t the first time the DEA refused to reschedule marijuana — and this time, it seems to have used the exact same reasoning it used several times over the past few decades: There’s not enough evidence that pot has medical value.”

But that is egregiously false. Whether preventing seizures, fighting cancer, relieving asthma, or another one of the plant’s countless uses, marijuana improves the quality of life for everyone that ingests it. Even those who smoke cannabis recreationally — the people that the DEA claims to be worried about — will still receive the health benefits.

This has all been proven and is basically common knowledge at this point.

It’s time to change the way federal government officials treat marijuana. It’s infinitely more trustworthy, healthy, important and likable than they are anyway.

And unlike them, it won’t kill you.
